Emergency procedures training prepares both cockpit and cabin crews to handle potential emergency situations, such as emergency landings, forced landings on water, or fires on board – making certain that even if a worst-case scenario occurs, everything runs smoothly.
All standard training programmes were approved by the Czech Civil Aviation Authority. Theoretical training is backed up by CBT computer-assisted learning programmes and videos. Particular emphasis is laid down on drilling emergency procedures in the B737 Cabin Mock-up in order to ensure that the theoretical insights gained are practised in settings as realistic as possible. Other special trainers for CSA operated airplane types may also be used. All the relevant rescue equipment is involved in practice drills.
