Excursions

We will be more than happy to welcome you to the Air Crew Training Centre.

We offer the chance to see where the dream of many really comes true.
You will see flight simulators (Airbus 320, Boeing 737, ATR 42/72) cabin mock-ups and other very interesting training devices (e.g., emergency evacuation slides).
You can select from three basic types of paid excursions:

Excursion I – 1 hour
During this excursion, an expert will inform you about the history of the Air Crew Training department, and pilot and cabin crew training. There is also a short film showing the activities of our department. Then, the actual guided tour of the training devices takes place. 

Excursion programme:

• Presentation in a classroom 
• Short film showing air crew training  at  CSA – 15 minutes
• Guided tour of training devices – 45 minutes

Excursion II – 2 hours
This excursion contains the additional presentation of a pilot’s work in an ATR simulator and a flight in an Airbus A320 cabin mock-up used for cabin attendant training.

Excursion programme:

• Presentation in a classroom
• Short film showing air crew training at CSA – 15 minutes
• Guided tour of training devices – 35 minutes
• Sightseeing flight in the Airbus 320 cabin mock-up – 20 minutes
• Presentation of a pilot on an ATR simulator – 50 minutes

Excursion III – 3 hours
This excursion contains the additional presentation of ATR aircraft basic data, a briefing on flying this airplane, and actual simulator flying under the supervision of an instructor.

Excursion programme:

• Presentation in a classroom
• Short film showing air crew training at CSA – 15 minutes
• Guided tour of training devices – 35 minutes
• Sightseeing flight in the Airbus 320 cabin mock-up – 20 minutes
• Flight in the ATR flight simulator – 110 minutes

If you have any specific requirements, we will do our best to meet them.

As capacity is limited, it is necessary to book your excursion dates well in advance. Taking photographs and amateur movie making is permitted. The participants meet at the Training Centre reception desk half-an-hour before the beginning of the excursion.
 

Excursion dates: to be agreed upon by telephone

Prices:

Excursion I (1 hour) – minimum no. of participants 10, maximum 20.
Adults – 150 CZK (VAT excluded)
Children 6-15 years, retirees, students, disabled – 70 CZK (VAT included)

Excursion II (2 hours) –maximum no. of participants 15
Price per group - 14 400 CZK (VAT included)

Excursion III (3 hours ) – minimum no. of participants 15
Price per group – 22 000 CZK (VAT included)

Prices do include 19% VAT

Other conditions:
The participants have to submit their names, surnames, dates of birth, identity card numbers or passport numbers in writing, a minimum of five days in advance. The participants shall observe all safety measures and strictly follow the instructions of the excursion guide. If minors participate in the excursion, the person accompanying them is responsible for their safety and conduct. We would like to inform the participants that they will access the Airport Restricted Area where all security measures have to be observed. It is prohibited to bring any weapons, fake weapons or other objects which could be used to commit an act of unlawful interference.
 
Method of payment:
A bank transfer to the CSA bank account, account number 104 061/0100. Enter the first six digits of the payer’s personal identification number (one for the entire group) in the variable symbol box. Make the payment so that it will be added to the Czech Airlines account two days before the excursion at the latest. Enter your name and surname in the text for the recipient. Present a copy of the receipt to the excursion coordinator before the beginning of the excursion. In exceptional cases, cash payment may be agreed upon with the excursion coordinator, on the day of the excursion at the latest.
